RooveMusic was founded by a collective of software engineers, keyboardists, and music producers who got tired of the friction in creative tools. We build the bridges.
● THE ORIGIN STORY
Most modern music applications are designed by generalist developers who haven't set foot on a live stage in years. The result is cluttered interfaces, forced accounts, and feature bloat.
We started RooveMusic in San Francisco with a simple premise: **build tools we actually want to use during our gigs and studio sessions.**
ScoreFlip, our flagship release, represents this philosophy. It doesn't ask you to watch a 20-minute tutorial or sign up for a newsletter to convert a score. It just transcribes, outputs MIDI/MusicXML, and plays it back instantly.
We maintain a close-knit group of core engineers working alongside music departments, jazz collectives, and live production crews to validate code iterations in real performance settings.
● OUR PILLARS
We design, direct, and execute high-energy live performance environments and multi-instrumental stage showcases. We believe software is only as good as its usefulness on the physical stage.
We construct zero-friction digital applications and developer SDKs that solve real bottlenecks—like turning paper scores to MIDI in seconds. No setups, no tutorials, just tools that work.
We are music practitioners first. Our systems are designed to keep artists in their flow state—whether you are practicing at home, teaching in a classroom, or tracking in the studio.
